Entries Open for #SAMA32 (South African Music Awards)

Johannesburg, South Africa - On the back of the electric, culture-shifting success of the hybrid #SAMA31, the Recording  Industry of South Africa (RiSA) turns up the volume and throws the doors wide open for  musicians to step into greatness. 

Entries are officially open from Wednesday, 17 December 2025 and closes on 30 January  2026 Entries eligible for #SAMA32 consideration in over 30 genre categories, should have  been released between 1 February 2025 and 30 January 2026. 

They can be uploaded on our  website www.samusicawards.co.za or delivered physically at Unit 1, 152 Bram Fisher Drive,  Randburg during office hours. From chart-topping anthems to underground gems, this is your moment to be counted,  heard, and crowned. 

WHO CAN ENTER? Artists, producers, labels, and independents whose music was released between 1 February  2025 and 31 January 2026 are eligible to submit across 30+ genre categories, reflecting the  rich, diverse soundscape of South Africa. 

KEY DATES • Submissions Open: Wednesday, 17 December 2025 

• Submissions Close: 30 January 2026 midnight (no late entries)
