Lioness Fonts, born in the Caribbean Island of Dominica is a Conscious Reggae artist hailing from London UK. A singer/songwriter and producer versatile in her deliverance. Lioness Fonts is a modern day artist who is a throw back from the classic Reggae era continuing the tradition of story telling in her own unique way like Reggae greats; Bob Marley, Jacob Miller, Burning Spear, Abbysinians, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, Wailing Souls etc. and, also be ing heavily inspired and influenced by her cousin Nasio Fontaine she continues the familys musical legacy. 

Lioness has taken her talent in her own hands managing her 1Roar team also promoting & creating a whirlwind both home an abroad. She has worked with renowned Reggae producers such as Rory Stone Love (Stone Love Jamaica), Aston 'family man' Barrett (The Wailers), Peckings Studio UK, Nereus Joseph (From A Baobab Tree) Mad Professor & more. With two albums released Lioness Fonts has worked extensively with Reggae producers in Europe giving them her brand of Reggae, also, feeding the Sound Systems with her fire allowing her to be exposed to radio play in many regions extending her fan base reaching promoters & agents. On the back of this exposure this has been a great platform for her and strategically used it to reach out to the Japanese, North American, Caribbean and African market. 

Lioness has toured extensively in Europe performing at festivals such as Rototom, Garance, Geel and Reggae Ville etc. With her Extensive live work the Lioness has definitely mastered her stage presence with her clear and certain execution & band leadership, along with her colourful stage attire which really grabs the audiences undivided attention. A child of the original Sound System movement influenced by Aces International (Yellow Man, Toyan, Fat Head, Little John, Charlie Chaplin, Josey Wales, Brigadier Jerry etc) Lioness Can be found exhibiting her skills on well known Sound Systems internationally, singing and chanting her word sound and power making her mark in the sound system arena dominated by males. 

The Lionesses force has gone from strength to strength, Dj's and promoters describing her as the 'UK Fyah'. Lioness has countless European tours on her profile, 2017 in Dominica she opened the emancipation day festival headlined by Sizzla Kalonji, then passing thru to Antigua. Lioness has toured The Gambia 2018 & 2019 with DJ JNR International, also in Senegal 2019, New York/ Manhattan 2019 while keeping Europe activated in between, end of year 2019 the Lioness will grace Nigeria Festival & also Sen Fest in Senegal supporting Anthony B. Lioness has opened for international artists such as Sizzla Kalonji, Abbysinians, Queen Ifrica, Etana, Tony Rebel, Dawn Penn, wailing Souls & Little Roy. 

Lioness is scheduled to perform in South Africa, from the 9th of August 2022 till September 2022, see full schedule below.
