SOUTH AFRICAN REGGAE / HIP-HOP ARTISTDON DADA RELEASES HIS POWERFULNEW SINGLE "PEACE" OUT NOW FROM RUFF CUTT STUDIO CCDISTRIBUTED BY TUFF GONG INTERNATIONAL

In a time of global unrest, where nations are divided and compassion is fading, African Reggae–Hip-Hop visionary Menelik Nesta Gibbons, known to the world as Don Dada, delivers a timely anthem titled "PEACE"

An interpolation of the classic Bob Marley track "War" – credits to Allan "Skill" Cole (idea) and Carlton "Carly" Barrett (music) — the music is an extension of the one-drop drumming style which Barrett had either invented, or at least developed and refined.

Don Dada's Interpolation of War titled "PEACE" transforms the legendary Bob Marley message into a 21st-century call for unity. Where Marley declared that injustice fuels war, Don Dada delivers his twist with his modern truth — that peace is a conscious choice, a weapon of light in dark times.

"We've been chanting war for generations," says Don Dada. "It's time we start chanting peace with the same energy — because peace is power, and love is the only revolution that wins, after all LOVE is a universal language."

Produced by the iconic Blacker Dread (Steve Burnett-Martin) of Blacker Dread Music, the track carries the weight of legacy and purpose. Known as the record store owner who became Brixton's hero, Blacker Dread is credited with mentoring generations of youth and keeping countless young people out of the penitentiary through music, employment, and mentorship. His deep roots in UK reggae culture lend authenticity and history to Don Dada's African message.

Coordinated by Leroy Scarlett of Reggae Powerhouse Band, "Peace" blends authentic roots reggae instrumentation with Don Dada's distinct African Reggae, Hip-Hop cadence, creating a spiritual rhythm that unites the Caribbean and the continent.

"Peace" continues Don Dada's lifelong creative mission — his signature commitment to Peace, Love, and Unity. From his acclaimed double album The Heart & The Mind  to his uplifting studio project Forward We Continue, Don Dada has consistently used music as a vehicle for healing and social transformation.

With a growing legacy of accolades, Don Dada stands among South Africa's most influential voices for global unity through art. As founder of RuFF CuTT Studio (est. 2009), he has mentored numerous upcoming talents and has fast become a continental symbol of Peace, Love, and Unity, representing Africa's voice on the global reggae stage. — bridging cultures, eras, and audiences.

"Peace is not passive," Don Dada reflects. "It's action — it's us choosing love when fear tries to divide us."
