The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz is proud to present Jazz for Young People, a vibrant and inspiring one-day festival dedicated to celebrating young jazz talent and raising vital funds for the National School of the Arts (NSA). This exciting event will take place on Saturday, 26 July 2025, at the iconic NSA campus in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. Expect an unforgettable day of music,mentorship,and community, all in support of nurturing South Africa’s next generation of artists.

 A Festival by Young People, for Young People

More than just a concert, Jazz for Young People is a dynamic youth focused initiative that combines world class performances with opportunities for young entrepreneurs, musicians, and creatives to showcase their talents and tap into new markets.We are thrilled to announce that NSA alumna and award-winning singer-songwriter Zoe Modiga will headline the event. Zoe will also lead a special mentorship roadshow, visiting schools featured in the lineup to guide and support the young performers ahead of their big day.

    • Willow Crescent Magnet School of Music
