The South African Music Awards are officially coming “home.”

The Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) has announced that the 31st Annual South African Music Awards (SAMA31) will take place on 14 December 2025, in a reimagined hybrid format that ushers in a bold new era for the country’s premier music celebration.

The South African Music Awards (SAMAs) have unveiled the nominees for the Best Reggae Album of the Year, showcasing a vibrant selection of talent from the local music scene.

Tickets for the iconic South African Music Awards (SAMAs) are now on sale as of 21 October 2024. Celebrating 30 years of excellence in South African music, the SAMAs will take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand on Saturday, 2 November '24.
