23 April 2025
Johannesburg, Soweto - It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of our beloved community leader and founder of Soweto Kliptown Youth (SKY), Bob Nameng affectionately known as Bra Bob, who departed on the evening of Saturday, 19 April 2025.
Born on 21 August 1970, Bob dedicated his life to uplifting the lives of young people in Kliptown.
He transformed his home into a living art gallery that attracted international tourists, while also creating a haven for the local community - empowering children, women, and families in need.
