Ras Fraternity
Nigel Murombedzi was born on the 20th of October 1994 in Bulawayo Zimbabwe at Mpilo Hospital. His mother was a nurse by profession and his Father was Top Rank Prison Warder. They relocated to Mhondoro Mubaira where he studied his Secondary Education for 2 years. His mother sadly passed on before he pursued his passion for music. She was always pushing and motivating him to join the church choir as he was not very keen. Ras Fraternity has always been passionate about playing marimba and traditional drums. He would sometimes do cover versions from various Jamaican artists like Sizzla Kalonji, Culture, Burning Spear, Richie Spice, Jah Mason, Damian Marley so forth.

He moved to Cape Town, South Africa in 2018, searching for greener pastures; that's where he set foot for the first time in a studio at Cape Town University with the help of a friend who was a student there in 2014. His self-confidence grew from there as his peers motivated him to pursue his passion. In Cape Town, he got to work with Producer Ras Terry Dr. Dread of High Grade Sounds and KSG Di Don.
