This October, the community gathers to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Lebo Malepa, the visionary behind Lebo’s Soweto Backpackers. On 01 October 2025, friends, family, and supporters will come together at the iconic backpackers in Soweto to pay tribute to a man whose spirit and passion created a home for travelers from around the world.

The evening will feature a Braai Dinner, live DJs, and performances, capturing the vibrant energy Lebo championed throughout his journey. More than just an event, it’s a celebration of culture, music, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
