Spiritual opening by Rastafari Mansions to set the intentional tone for the day.

Welcome remarks from event organizers and overview of the Rastafari Women Empowerment Foundation's mission and the Cakes for Change initiative.

Personal testimonies from Gender-Based Violence survivors sharing powerful narratives of resilience, healing, and survival.

2:00 PM – 2:30 PM | GUEST SPLEAKER: Pastor Seipei Rose Moate GBV survivor and activist sharing her story.

2:30 PM – 3:00 PM | TRAUMA THERAPIST: Ms. Segametsi Ditlhale

Professional trauma counselling facilitator providing insights on healing, coping mechanisms, and mental health support for survivors.

3:00 PM – 3:30 PM | REFRESHMENT & NETWORKING BREAK

Refreshments, informal networking, and opportunities for attendees to connect with speakers and each other.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM | OPEN DIALOGUE & PANEL DISCUSSION: Adv. Sipho Mantula (RHRC)

Interactive panel discussion featuring survivors, legal experts, and counsellors. Community members invited to ask questions and contribute to the dialogue on GBV awareness and prevention.

5:00 PM – 5:05| VOTE OF THANKS: Empress Sibongile (Chair RWEF)

5:00 PM – LATE EVENING | ENTERTAINMENT & COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

Live music, cultural performances, community celebration, and continued cake sales. Raffle draw and informal gathering to celebrate women's resilience and empowerment.

NOTE: Cake sales continue throughout the entire event.

Expert Engagement The event features presentations from legal experts, trauma counselling professionals, and survivor voices to provide comprehensive support and education on GBV prevention and survivor services.

Community Empowerment This is a platform for local women-owned bakeries, entrepreneurs, and community members to showcase their work while supporting a critical social cause. It is a family-friendly event celebrating women's resilience.

Survivor-Centered Approach The event centers survivor voices and experiences, creating a safe space for sharing and healing while building community solidarity.
