#IamFreeAgain is a song that is based on a true story. In February 2018, Dicksy Mdlalose fell ill, between March and May he was unable to utter a word. He lost his voice.

Since then he has been battling that trauma. It was in 2022 when he began to feel well enough and strong to share his story in the only way he knows how; music, "I Am Free Again" was not. The single is taken from his fourth upcoming album which is scheduled to be released during the year.
