Eddie Luvhengo was born in South Africa  Venda Limpopo, Nweli Village; to parents Joseph who sadly passed on in 2014 and Nyawasedza Luvhengo. He has 6 siblings 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is the only one in the family who subscribes to the Rastafarian way of life.

Eddie started doing music in 2003 but released his hit song Engelina Musadzi wa Miporofita in 2010, the song was hugely accepted in all areas around Johannesburg and Venda.

He has since released two tracks 'I Receive' and 'Mama Africa'. He is currently working towards his sophomore album. His latest single 'Mama Africa' is a tribute to all the women who have made a great impact in his life and the society in general.
