Born Gift Moyo in 1996 on the 5th of August, Gillaz Mann GT is a Zimbabwean reggae/ dancehall recording and performing music artist. He was born in Plumtree and raised in the rural areas of Zvishavane, Zimbabwe. Gillaz did his primary and secondary education at Chamini (Zvishavane) and Ihlathi (Bulawayo) respectively.

Gillaz Mann GT started doing music in 2014 as a teenager. He has been a fan of reggae/ dancehall music since 2010, he used to re-write songs of big artists. Whilst in high school, he decided to start writing his songs for recording. His first proper studio experience was at Dragan studios in 2015. Gillaz later moved to South Africa in 2016 where he met Elcee (The beat god) his current producer, who has done most of his music production.
