The 33-year-old Zimbabwean-born artist residing in Johannesburg, South Africa has been in the music industry for more than a decade and has featured some of the big names in the reggae dancehall scene like Gyptian (JA) on Slow Wine, Medisun (JA) on Vibesy and My Type, Peppery (JA) on They Didn't Know, Trevor Dongo (Zim) Babe Unospaka, MizDee (SA) Mek I [Love You], ShaSha (Zim) Let Me Love You, Seke Mutema (Zim) BadBoi Zimbo.
His song “My Year” produced by Kenyan Felix Kanyi was nominated for the best upcoming artiste at Mzansi Reggae Awards in 2012, he was also nominated for Best Zimdancehall Artiste in the Diaspora in 2014.

He plans to one day build a studio and has already been organising events with a live band called Kichaka Band and they also use a band from Boksburg AFM Church.
"It has been very difficult to be accepted at home (Zimbabwe), some say because of the language I use (English). I have performed extensively in South Africa which also saw me being nominated for Reggae Awards in "Mzansi Reggae Awards 2017" & also the best foreign-based artist "Zimdancehall Awards" 2017. Ever since I started music, I've always been writing music in English and just a few in Shona, and I have worked with the likes of Tman of Mount Zion, Chillspot Records, Augustin Quazor, Jusa Dementor".
Besides music, Teban Cee is an entrepreneur, and a director of a Transport & Logistics Company called SEJA Transport_&_Logistics.
His words of inspiration to the upcoming musicians "A dream delayed is not a dream denied. You should never give up on anything you have started of course it's not going to be easy, it always gets super dark before the sun comes up"
