Thokozani Khuzwayo was born in Durban but grew up in an area called Empembeni next to Esikhaleni township. He is a self-taught guitarist and also plays a few keyboards and the bass guitar. Thokozani started listening to reggae music from the time he was born his father and uncle used to play it for as far as he can remember.

He always sang a lot of reggae tunes and reggae - dancehall was his biggest influence. Last year he was privileged to share the stage with the Bab'Sipho Hotstix Mabuse and was in the line-up for the biggest reggae show called "The House of Legends" that was held in Richards Bay, KZN. It included the late Lucky Dube's legendary band, ToGaTa, Baba Thuthukani Cele, and Richard Saggy Sagila Siluma. Thokozani has also shared a stage with the legendary Baba Dan Kapuja.
