Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania — The Marafiki Arts Festival is excited to announce its call for applications for the 2026 edition! The event invites dance groups, musicians and bands, acrobatic performers, theatre ensembles, and all performing arts groups to be part of an unforgettable celebration of artistic expression.
Application Details
Prospective artists and groups are encouraged to submit their applications by 20 February 2026. The festival is committed to showcasing diverse talents and fostering cultural exchange within East Africa and beyond.
What to Submit
Applicants should include the following:
- Artist Biography: A brief overview of your background and artistic journey.
- Latest Live Performance Link: A URL to your most recent performance.
- High-Resolution Photos: Three quality images representing your act.
- Technical Rider: Your technical requirements for performance.
- Piece Description/Concept Note: An outline or concept behind your proposed performance.
- Musicians: In addition to the above, please include three audio tracks and an Electronic Press Kit (EPK).
