King Shiloh Soundsystem Returns To Soweto for the Gumba Fyah Soweto Dub Experience 2025.

Experience returns on 16 November 2025 with its fourth powerful edition, an electrifying celebration of reggae and dub culture in the heart of South Africa’s most iconic township.

This year’s edition embraces a spirit of unity and inclusivity, building bridges across borders and generations. For 2025, Gumba Fyah partners with Roots & Culture Travel and the legendary King Shiloh Soundsystem (Amsterdam) in a collaborative programme designed to spotlight the social importance of sound system culture within diverse communities.

Beyond Soweto – Taking the Vibes Nationwide

As part of this groundbreaking partnership, the collaboration will extend beyond Soweto, with plans to tour two to three provinces across South Africa. This initiative will take the message of roots, culture, and community empowerment to wider audiences, amplifying the impact of sound system culture on a national scale.

This year, King Shiloh Soundsystem will bring Rapha Pico and more international artists (to be announced soon) to Soweto, joining forces with local selectors, MCs, and cultural creatives for a truly unforgettable dub session.

What to Expect:

• World-class reggae and dub sound systems, including the iconic King Shiloh, delivering thunderous basslines and uplifting vibrations.

• Performances by Rapha Pico and other international artists (line-up TBA).

• Roots & Culture activations, including a craft market, art exhibitions, food vendors, and township tours.

• A family-friendly atmosphere rooted in peace, love, and reggae vibrations.
