ChuNchu Mataron

Vincent Chumani Gqwabe also known as ChuNchu Beats or ChuNchu Mataron is a Reggae/Dancehall artiste and producer who started as a Hip-Hop Rap artist but later improved to a more conscious defining sound. He previously worked at Dopslang Muzik as an artist and company manager and at a later stage, he decided to establish his own company. He currently works at Eye On Maan Productions which was founded by him in 2006 and is currently the CEO Of The company, he also affiliated himself with Conscious Voice Records located in Beacon Valley Cape Town, South Africa.  He has worked with many artists such as Dreadlloyd, Empress Hotep, Teba Shumba, Blak Kalamawi, Junior B, Bongo Riot, just to mention. ChuNchu Mataron has previously been booked at shows around Cape Town such as Unity Jam Fest that was held in Muizenberg and i420cpt Sundaze in Trenchtown and other events. 

He is currently busy with his first Ep called "Slum 2 Burbs", an 8 track compilation. He enlisted Benji Beats from Conscious Voice Records on the engineering, and ChunChu made some of the beats himself. Also featured on the Ep is a USA Based Artiste Called Jreal Da Realest. The Ep is still under construction and the date is yet to be finalised.
